Hello,
Unfortunately, with just 68 percentile in CAT exam, it is impossible to get even a decent college for pursuing MBA. I suggest you to reappear for CAT this year and aim for a much better score (at least 85 percentile). Good luck.

Engineering is the best stream for you. A huge job opportunities are available. And, there are many easy subjects. But, you should be careful during the exams. Only thing in this stream, is you can study as well as we can enjoy. The syllabus is not that much when compared with class 12th course.

If in Kolkata, you can go for B.Sc in media science in lead. It is same as mass communication but will give you more knowledge about the media industry.

To get admissions in US universities after 12th studies for Bachelors, you need to fill up the forms which would be out in possibility of March till the end of mid April to fill those forms prepare hard from the online mock test and other things and if you're qualified for exams, you will be eligible to get admission there and you can pursue a Bachelors study from there. You should write appearing class 12th in NEET application form. Since the age criteria is also included, you may be asked about the difference in age and your 12th passing year. You may then mention about your re-appearance in 12th boards. On the other hand, you always have an option to confirm directly from the exam conducting committee.
