CBSE 12th

After passing class 12th, you are eligible to join Indian Air Force.
You have to appear in NDA Exam to join Indian Air Force.
NDA:- National Defence Academy
This exam is organized by UPSC twice in a year as NDA I & II.
UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission
Eligibility Criteria for Air Force:-
You should be 12th passed from recognized school/board.
You must pass class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Maths.
Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.
You must have an Indian citizenship.
Only unmarried male candidate can join Air Force through NDA.

BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available). A minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

The admission committee decides your admission on overall criteria of your previous academic performance, work experience, performance in design test, and performance in interview, portfolio and CEED scores, so yes, your scores in class 12th do matter. However, they consider the overall score of your application and if you do well in other areas you may still have a chance.
