You have scored reasonably well in your 12th exam. English honours is a good course to do. After this, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to work. But it's a language and you must give enough time to learn.

Happy to know that you want to join India Army.
But for that, you have to do graduation in any stream and prepare for CDS (Combined Defence Service) exam which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice every year for recruitment to office cadre of the Army, Navy and Air force.

Your choice are good.so need work hard you start preparing for IELTS.
The strategies for preparation can differ from individual to individual. Ideally, 3 to 5 months is required. You can take a lot of practice test, which they are available online on IELTS and British Council website.
You should practice answering and finishing within the specified time limit. You can identify your weak areas and work on them.
