Study options are many but you will get limited college options since a minimum of 50% is required by majority of the colleges. If you are from one of the backward classes you have a scope. After PCMB popular options are:
MBBS
Biotechnology
Biochemistry
Bioinformatics
Biomedical Engineering
B.Sc Hons
Agriculture
Forensic Science
Genetic Engineering
Environmental Science
Food Science and Nutrition

The choice is very simple. Choose from BBM, BBA, BMS and BBS. You should also aim for an MBA after completing your Bachelors.

Choosing one's career is an individual choice. Know your interests and what kind of career you plan to pursue. After PCM you have many options - engineering, architecture, commerce, management, etc.

These days even private universities are very good. They are no less than govt.ones. They offer quality education along with good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students. Check their websites for more details.
Good luck.
