Choosing one's career is an individual choice. Know your interests and what kind of career you plan to pursue. After PCM you have many options - engineering, architecture, commerce, management, etc.

Pratap, most of the universities whether govt.or private admit students after clearing the entrance test. If you have given JEE, then try for admission on the basis of that. Otherwise admission process is on in most of the private universities like Lovely, Amity, Manipal, etc. Check with them, fill their forms and go ahead.
These days even private universities are very good. They are no less than govt.ones. They offer quality education along with good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students. Check their websites for more details.
