You should trust your instincts. Nobody is perfect. But, what you are pursuing is very important as it would shape or direct your future, so try afresh and handle exams with tactics. Hard work can beat anything in this universe. "The earth is enjoyed by heroes" and those heroes weren't always good scorers, but they definitely were hardworking and stubborn in their attitude. Do your best and leave the rest to god.

Well, there is not any affordable college you will get there as studying and cost of living is very high. You will get a good scholarship if you score very well in SAT.

Well, question standard of JEE is quite high as compared to other examinations. For government colleges, you may opt exams like WBJEE, CUSAT, MHCET and different state CETs.

Well, from this year, boards marks are not considerable. Apply for different states counselling based on JEE Mains score and you may get any government college in Punjab or Madhya Pradesh. Also, don't forget to apply in IIIT-Bhubaneswar and LNMIT.
