You are talking about the world's most selective university. There is no set rule on how to get into Stanford or even Harvard or MIT, etc. You must have an extraordinary profile with excellent grades, high involvement in extra-curricular activities, high SAT and TOEFL scores. Overall you must be an all-rounder. Check Stanford website and go through the admission requirements page. You have to understand the kind of students they look for and prepare accordingly.

Yes, your grade 12 scores are important for your future as: for jobs most companies, and for post graduation courses most colleges will consider your 12 class results. However, if you have already taken grade 12 exams, then don't worry. Focus on doing well in future exams.

Unfortunately with 45% you are not eligible to study abroad. You must have atleast 55% for the average colleges and 70% and above for the top ones. A suggestion for you, please complete your Bachelors degree in India and maintain a good academic record. You can apply for PG courses abroad if you manage to qualify.

Any candidate who had completed their intermediate class studies from any of the recognised boards is eligible for BMM course. The subject selected for study is not a restriction for pursuing the same. The students who have passed XII class with Science, Commerce or Arts are eligible to undergo the course. They should have obtained not less than 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
