I think the highest paid jobs as a fresher are: Pilots (assistant level) - somewhere around 1 lakhs- 1.5 lakhs.
CA / CS - very well paid.

Praise and encourage him for medical right now as the NEET exams are overhead. Unfortunately, if he doesn't get any good medical college then there are other options too like B.Pharm and B.Tech in biotechnology. But please note seats for these two courses are very few in India and very few good colleges allow students to do B.Tech in biotechnology without mathematics in class 12th.
