It depends on what were your courses in 11th and 12th. A career in a similar stream which you had in your 11th and 12th will help you succeed better. Commerce and Science are the two broad categories. In commerce, you can go for arts/design, business, finance and banking.
In Science, you have engineering and medical. These are the traditional streams students choose. Some new streams are also in demand nowadays like bio- tech, Nano technology, agriculture and genetic. It depends on where you would like to see yourself after the completion of the course. If your were PCM for your +2, then a B Tech/BE is the most preferred choice. B Sc, BBA, BCA are also preferred by many. If your ultimate aim is Civil Services then any degree will do. If you were PCB for your +2 then MBBS stands to be the most preferred option with BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B Sc Nursing, Diary Sciences or Agriculture to follow. Home Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, etc. will help you become a nutritionist. If you were commerce stream for your +2, then B Com, BCA, BA, BBA, etc. are the preferred options.

Certificate course in radio jockeying of Mumbai University is a part time course with the duration of four weeks. To be eligible, you have to complete your 12th standard examination. Admissions are done on first-come-first-serve basis.

You have to score good marks in NIOS board and if you have confidence, knowledge and strong foundation of your subjects, than there is no issue. You can apply for respective universities with their admission process and appear for entrance exam and interview.
