The salary and benefits are excellent but in the initial years, you have to stay at sea for 5 months and then you get a 2-month leave. Senior officers/engineers have to stay in the sea for less. You can go for B.Com, BBA, hotel management, journalism and mass communication, fashion designing and law. Rest, it depends on your interest where you want to make your career.

You can choose any based on type of institute, where you want to get admission. Based on expected marks, you will be able to get admission in B.Sc honors in any university.
You also have option to do BBA and BCA. You can also change stream to commerce, humanities, fine arts, hotel management, fashion designing, etc.

B.Tech and B.Sc. has various subjects like CSE, ECE, ME, EEE, CE, EIE, aeronautical engineering, etc. In B.Sc., you can go for B.Sc. in physics, chemistry, mathematics, CS, IT, etc. Choose your career according to your interest area.
