If you are clear that you want to teach English, there is no issue. Go and learn in BA and MA (English) and you're on your way. You are confused about careers after 12th/ graduation, there are a few ways to approach this. One, is to go for a career counsellor who would take parametric tests and identify your strengths and weaknesses and advise career categories to attempt.
Also, if you are very good with, and like mathematics and programming. You may opt for Computers (B.Tech or BCA). Whereas, if you are good with Drawing and Creative opt for Design (Animation, VFX, Games, Fashion). If you are good with words become a writer (con
