Opt for the course which is related to the profession / job you would want to do and for which you think that your fit enough. For finding the job of your liking evaluate your hobbies and find out if it can be related to one of your hobbies in some way. Evaluate your personal interests and find out form your friends what you are good at.

One of the obvious options is to go for engineering. The other is to do graduation in any subject of your choice, do post graduation, clear the UGC NET exam and go for career in Education field. After graduation / post graduation you can also give state PSC and UPSC exam to make a career in Govt - Admininstration. You can also opt for forensic field, or computers or even go for a career in marketing after doing MBA. There would be even lot more opportunities.
