The course duration ranges from six months to one year at the institute. The course duration depends upon the specialisation that has been opted by the candidate. The admission schedule for Certificate courses at Department of Library and Information Science varies yearly. The exact schedule is released on the department's official website. Based on the latest admission schedule, the application window for admission to the Certificate in Teacher Librarianship course is expected to open in June. The application process for Certificate Courses in Library and Information Science (CCLIS) will be conducted in December, tentatively.

For PG Diploma course admission, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Clini Launch Research Institute. Aspirants should pass graduation with a minimum 60% aggregate. The admission criteria for the course is merit-based. The total tuition fee for this course is in the range of INR 60,000-INR 1.2 lakh.
