NIELIT Ranchi has specified certain documents that must necessarily be uploaded with the Online Registration Application Form (ORAF). Failing to do so may lead to the rejection of the application form. Listed below are the documents that must be uploaded while applying for Certificate admission:

NIELIT Ranchi offers 'O' Level Certificate courses to candidates applying though accredited institutes and direct applicants. The eligibility criteria for both these categories are different. The following table presents the eligibility criteria for both the categories:

Yes, there is a scholarship available for students enrolled in the Certificate courses at NIELIT Ranchi. The name of this scholarship is Protsahan Puraskar Scheme. However, only the candidates who fulfil the below-given eligibility criteria can avail of the scholarship:
- The Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) will be applicable for SC/ST/physically handicapped and Female candidates pursuing O/A/B/C level Courses of the NIELIT (DOEACC) as a full-time course

NIELIT Ranchi accepts application for Certificate admissions throughout the year. Hence, aspirants can visit the institute's official website anytime to apply online. However, when a candidate applies determines the cycle in which they will appear for the NIELIT exam. The exam is conducted in two cycle, i.e. January and July. The following table presents the last date to apply for Level O/A/B/C courses for the two exam cycles:

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Ranchi offers various short-term, long-term, and Digital Literacy courses. The fees for various Certificate courses offered at the institute range from INR 708 to INR 8,500. Further, a registration fee of INR 500 must also be paid by the applicants. The admission procedure requires that candidates from the OBC category present two certificates confirming their status combined with their Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) verification. JAC Delhi approves certificates for OBC category applicants when they come from authorized bodies including Government of NCR or Government of NCT of Delhi which specify NCL status.
