The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) DLC (CCC/CCCP/ECC/ACC/BCC) exams began on October 12 and will continue through October 16, 2025. The current exam cycle combines the NIELIT CCC/CCCP/ECC/ACC/BCC September & October 2025 exam sessions

At the exam centre, students must present their NIELIT 2025 hall ticket along with a valid identity proof. Without the documents, the candidates will not be allowed inside the exam centre. The NIELIT 2025 results for the O/A/B/C-level July cycle are expected in mid-October 2025.

What is NIELIT?

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Exam, or NIELIT Exam, is conducted at the national level by the institute itself as the exam conducting body. The NIELIT exam is conducted every year for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the titles of Non-Formal Courses - O Level, A Level, B Level and C Level.

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), erstwhile DOEACC Society, is an autonomous scientific society under the administrative control of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MoE&IT), Government of India. NIELIT was established to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT). 

At present, NIELIT has 47 offices in different cities across India with its Headquarters in New Delhi. It is also well networked throughout India, with the presence of more than 700 institutes.

NIELIT 2025 Admit Card

The official NIELIT 2025 admit card for the NIELIT CCC/CCCP/ECC/ACC/BCC exam September & October cycle practical exam is now available to download at student.nielit.gov.in. The details regarding the allotted exam centre, date, time, guidelines and more have been released through the NIELIT admit card 2025. While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will have to present their NIELIT admit card and valid identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/PAN Card/Passport/School ID/Any Govt.-approved ID). Without the admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the examination. The candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately if any mistakes are found in their NIELIT 2025 hall ticket.

Q:   Which login credentials are required to download the NIELIT admit card?

NIELIT admit card will be released online. Candidates will have to click on the official NIELIT hall ticket download link, which will be available on the official website. The login credentials required to access the NIELIT admit card is the application number and date of birth. No other mode will be used to release the admit card of NIELIT. After downloading the admit card, the candidates will have to print it out for future use.

Q:   What can a candidate do in case the institute is closed or accreditation is withdrawn?
A: 

The institutes are supposed to submit the list of candidates once it is withdrawn or closed. In such cases, the candidate's name should be on the list provided by the institute, which will then allow the candidate to sit in the examinations.

NIELIT 2025 Examination Centres

NIELIT 2025 exam centres are the venues where the examination will be conducted by the authorities. While filling out the NIELIT 2025 application form, the candidates had to select their choice of exam centres in order of preference. Allotment of centres will be done based on the candidate's preferences and availability. Candidates will be able to check the details regarding their allotted centres through the NIELIT 2025 admit card. The NIELIT 2025 O/A/B/C exam will be conducted at all the primary centres. The examination to be carried out at any of these primary centres will depend on the number of candidates and the infrastructure available at these centres. Q:   Where can I find my assigned NIELIT examination centre?

Authorities will assign and disclose the assigned NIELIT exam centre through the admit card. The candidates can verify the information about the designated exam centre after downloading the admit card. The NIELIT admit card allotment will be based on the preferences given by the candidates during the application form and available seats. NIELIT 2025: Medium of Examination (applicable only for 'O' level)

Candidates will be provided the option to choose Hindi or English as their language medium to write the answers (for the descriptive portion only) in the NIELIT 2025 'O' level examination. The selection of the language should be done by the candidates. If the candidates fail to submit their language choice, then the authorities will automatically assume English as the medium of language. However, it is to be noted that the medium of the question paper will be English.

  • Retotalling of marks for any module/paper can be requested in the specified pro forma within one month of the result sheet date, along with a fee of INR 200/- per module/paper.
  • On successful completion of the modules or papers and of the project, the candidates are awarded certificates/diplomas by NIELIT.
  • 'B' level candidates, on successful completion of the first ten papers which are common to 'A' level and of the first project, are awarded the Advanced Diploma, as are 'A' level successful candidates.

Q:   How can I check my NIELIT O Level Result?

Follow the steps below to check the NIELIT O Level result:

  • Open the official website, student.nielit.gov.in.

  • Locate the "View Result" link in the window.

  • Go to the section and select the course for which you wish to check the result.

  • Now, fill in the "Exam Year, Exam Date/Roll Number, Name, and Date of Birth."

  • Check the information and click on the "View" button.

Q:   Is a candidate eligible to apply for the NIELIT O-Level examination marks revaluation?
A: 

If you are not satisfied with the marks scored in the NIELIT O Level Exams, you can request a revaluation. Please note that you need to apply for the revaluation within 1 month of the declaration of the O Level Exam result 2025. The revaluation process at NIELIT involved a fee of INR 200 per question.

Q:   What is the passing mark to be eligible for the modules of the NIELIT O/A/B and C-level exams?
A: 

To pass the NIELIT O/A/B and C levels, a candidate must score 50% marks in each module. The NIELIT O/A/B/C level results will be declared on the official site.

NIELIT 2025 Application Process

NIELIT 2025 Online Examination Application Forms (OEAF) process for the O/A/B/C July level exam was available online until May 20, 2025. Candidates were advised to keep the following documents ready before filling out the application form. 

  • A valid registration number (name and DOB exactly as in the Registration Allocation cum Identity Card issued by NIELIT).
  • Personal Email ID of the candidate, not of the institute, for validations and future correspondence.
  • Personal mobile number of the candidate, not of the institute, for validations and future correspondence.
  • Scanned latest passport-size photograph, signature &  LTI (Left Thumb Impression); all in jpeg format, size limited to 50 KB each. 

Steps to fill out the NIELIT Application Form

Since the application process is over, the candidates can check the given steps for reference.

1. Create an account.
For the creation of an account, candidates need to click on the New User (registered candidate)  link provided in the top corner on the right-hand side of the official website. The following screen will appear:
Step 1: Candidate Details Verification, which a candidate needs to fill:

  • Current course (in which a candidate is registered)
  • Registration Number ( of the course selected above)
  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of Birth
  • Captcha Code

After filling out the above information, press the next button. The data will be verified, and then candidates will need to complete the next step.

Step 2:  Email ID & Mobile Number Verification

  • Candidate Name:
  • Enter Email Address
  • Enter Mobile Number

After filling out the above information, press the next button. A candidate will be asked to enter a user ID and create a password. Also, the candidate will be prompted to select a security question and enter the security answer, which will be used to recover the password, in case he or she forgets it in the future.

Step 3: User Creation

A screen will appear in which the below-mentioned information needs to be filled out by a candidate:

  • Candidate Name
  • User Name/ID
  • Create a new password.
  • Confirm the new password.
  • Security Question
  • Security Answer

After successful completion, the user ID and Password will be sent to the email address of the candidate. It is to be noted that account activation is mandatory to log in to the Online Student Information and Enrolment System of NIELIT. Once the account is activated, candidates can click on the login page link. After a successful login, it will direct the candidate to the My Dashboard.

2. Update Profile

On the dashboard, a candidate may get the following notifications, depending on the details about their availability in records:

  • Your profile photo/signature/left thumb impression has not yet been uploaded.
  • Your correspondence address details are not completed yet.

Check out the instructions below to complete your profile details. Scanned images properly for uploading. Ensure size and format, too.

Step 1:  Upload Photograph, Signature & LTI

  • Upload Photograph (JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG image with size up to 50 KB )
  • Upload Signature (JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG image with size up to 50 KB )
  • Upload Left Hand Thumb Impression (JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG image with size up to 50 KB)

After uploading, click on the preview. Make sure that all the details are displayed correctly. It is to be noted that once the details are updated, they cannot be modified. If sure, click on Update, and then go back to the Dashboard.

Step 2: Update Your Mobile Number

Click on the Please verify your Mobile Number link. An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number provided by the candidate. Enter the OTP number in the given box.

The OTP number must correspond to the OTP reference number, usually the latest SMS is the valid one. Click on Validate after putting the OTP number in the box. If a candidate does not receive any SMS for a reasonable time, he or she may click on the Resend button. Go to My Dashboard. Click on the link for updating candidates' Correspondence Address Details.

Step 3: Update Correspondence Address Details

After completing it, go to My Dashboard.

Step 4: Update Personal Details

After completing it, again go to My Dashboard.

Step 5: Lock Profile

If a candidate finds no pending profile notification, then lock the profile. Lock the profile only after ensuring that the details entered are correct and current. Note that once a candidate locks the profile, he or she cannot modify it any more. Further, unless a candidate locks his or her profile, he or she can not apply for any NIELIT Examination Online. After locking the profile, a full screen will display to check the whole profile once again. At the top of the right-hand side, the "Lock Profile" button is there. 
It will display a full-screen view of your profile. The top RHS candidate will get a “Lock Profile” button. Another page with a warning will be displayed, at the bottom of which a candidate will have to click the Confirm Lock button to confirm that the details entered are correct and ready for locking. Still, another message will ask a candidate for confirmation.

Step 6: Send Updated Profile Sheet

Once a candidate confirms the lock, preserve a copy of the same for future reference. Take a printout of the form from My Dashboard and submit the same along with support documents to:

3.  Fill out the application form

Go to the Course tab. Click on Apply Online available on the right-hand side border. On the screen, the application form will appear for the ongoing Examination. Please note that the field marked with is mandatory. It has five major points, such as Exam Details, Exam Centre Details, Modules Appearing, Fee Details and Declaration. 

The candidate will be sent an email and SMS informing them of the Application Number, which should be preserved for future use. Also, the Candidate will be given a Demand Note Number with the fees to be paid.

4. Fee Payment

While filling out the Application Form, the candidate can opt to pay the applicable fees him/herself or opt for the Accredited Institute will pay the fee on his/her behalf. If the candidate has chosen to pay the fees him/herself, s/he have many alternatives with different service charges available as under. It may be noted that the service charges are not included in the total fees that were calculated during the filling of the form. It will be collected by the service provider separately from the candidate.

To pay the fee, a candidate can choose the CSC-SPV Service or pay through an online payment service. 

Submission of Application Forms to NIELIT

Institutes that are authorised to conduct NIELIT courses need to submit the filled-in online examination application forms. However, it shall be the responsibility of the institute to make sure that the same is verified by them and processed online, well before the cut-off date, as mentioned above. Under no circumstances will any request concerning the late submission be entertained, and application(s) cannot be received and processed after the cut-off date.

Q:   Is it necessary to fill out the OEAF? Or is there any provision for a physical examination application for NIELIT?

Yes, it is compulsory to fill out the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF). There is no provision for offline or physical forms. Here to note is that the Physical Examination Application Form has been discontinued from the July 2013 Examination onwards.

NIELIT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Registration is a pre-requisite for candidates to appear in the NIELIT 2025 O/A/B/C level examinations. At O/A/B/C levels, candidates will be eligible to appear in any paper, in any order, if the subject has been covered in the institution running the accredited course and as mentioned on the application form. Candidates can directly appear in examinations if they satisfy the eligibility criteria as applicable to them. 

Those candidates who sit for the 'O' level course may appear in the first two modules of the 'O' level examination after six months of the commencement of the accredited course and in the remaining two modules after the completion of one year of the commencement of the accredited course. Further, graduate candidates registered for an 'O' level course may appear in the examination for all modules in a single attempt.

Educational Qualification for NIELIT 2025 Exam (O/A/B/C Level)

  • Candidates aspiring for the NIELIT 2025 exam should have completed the 12th class from a recognised board for Bachelor’s degree courses and Bachelor’s degree for Postgraduate Degree courses from a recognised institute/university.
  • At O/A/B/C level exams of NIELIT, candidates can appear in any paper, in any order, if the subject has been covered in the institution running the accredited course and so endorsed on the application form. Direct candidates can appear in examinations if they satisfy the eligibility criteria as applicable to them.
  • Candidates undergoing an 'O' level accredited course by NIELIT will be eligible to appear in the first two modules of the 'O' level NIELIT examination six months after the commencement of the accredited course and in the remaining two modules after the completion of one year of the commencement of the accredited course. This is subject to the condition that the subjects have been covered in the accredited course by the institute and so endorsed in the examination application forms as per the format therein.
  • Graduate Candidates registered for the NIELIT 2025 'O' level course may appear for all modules in a single attempt.
  • ​NIELIT Examinations are conducted across nearly 120 centres all over the country. The conduct of examinations at these centres is liable to change.
  • Candidates aspiring for the NIELIT Exam 2025 have to choose primary centres and secondary centres. Examinations will be conducted at all the primary centres.
  • For the examination to be carried out at any of these primary centres will depend upon the number of candidates and infrastructure available at these centres. In case of an insufficient number of students or for any other administrative reasons, one or more of these primary centres may be cancelled by the exam conducting authority.
  • While filling application form for the NIELIT Exam 2025, candidates who choose one of the secondary centres as a first choice in their forms for examinations are required to give a primary centre as a second choice.
