Hi dear,
If you got 75% or above percentage in 12th, then you can easily get admission in CGC, because there is no cut-off on the basis of JEE Mains in CGC.

Well, I see it is the most debated issue but both campuses have their own merits and demerits on the basis of following points. So you have to decide for yourself on the basis of the following points: ->Hostel :- CGC University can boast of hostel rooms being rather than landran campus,overall, the CGC University hostel has better bathroom,/water/gym/coomon room/mess facilities than Landran. ->Festivals/celebs/singers performing etc :- In my 2 years of experience i noticed that all the good singers come to CGC University and ditch landran ! ->Faculty :- As we compare both the campuses, Jhanjheri is still growing, all the faculity go to

There is not a big difference between these two. Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) has three campuses. Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landra (2001), Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Gharuan (2009), CGC University. After that CGC-Gharuan is transformed to Chandigarh University, Gharuan. Now, it's affiliated to University Grant Commission (UGC). Now, it's independent entity. Have its own courses and curriculum. But placement is joint.

Hi Dhruv, we can share the details only our campus, surely CGC Landran is better for ECE. The average package offered is 3-4 lakhs per annum and companies like Panasonic, Reliance, LG Soft India, Cypress Semiconductor, Nokia networks India Pvt Ltd, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Synopsys India, etc visit us every year with a number of opportunities.
