Chandigarh University (CU)

I have not heard any cons about the CSE programme at Chandigarh University. I have only heard about the pros and some of them are:

• The engineering department offers different courses like CSE and CSE with specializations. Students can choose elective subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Internet of Things. 

• The university has soo modern campus, big buildings, labs and library. There are special research centers and tie-ups with big companies. 

• The department has top-class labs like the Microsoft Innovation Centre, IBM Software Lab, Virtusa Robotics & Automation Center, and HP Center of Excellence. 

• Hackathons, tech clubs, and live projects also happen regularly

• The department ensures 100% placements 

For students from Maharashtra, Chandigarh University has shown decent placements for ECE graduates.The programme covers areas like electronics, power systems, control systems, and telecommunications. Topvrecruiters like BT India, ALSTOM, Exide, Intel, and SanDisk hire students from CU. the highest packages recorded are around 13.65 LPA, with most students getting between 5-8 LPA. Entry-level offers usually start from 3-4 LPA. The university helps students with internships, training, and interview preparation to improve chances of placement.
