After completing the 12th, the students can appear for an online entrance exam which is the CUCET exam. On the basis of the score of the student, scholarships are awarded to students during the course of their education. This can be up to 100% if the student scores 90+ in the exam. The exam is set for all courses. The basic syllabus of class 12th is followed, in whichever stream you have given your boards. Apart from this, you can also get a scholarship through your 12th score. Students above 55% aggregate score can appear for BA (Hons) in English at Chandigarh University's Liberal Arts Department.

After completing 12th with Science you can apply for biosciences programme at Chandigarh University by filling out online form on university's official website. After registration submit required documents and academic details. You may also appear in CUCET which can help with admission as well as scholarship.

I'm not sure about Chandigarh University, but at Lovely Professional University, you can pursue B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication after completing your 12th. The eligibility is generally around 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English or an equivalent qualification.
