Chandigarh University appreciates students who attempt JEE Main because it reflects serious preparation and exposure to competitive standards. Even if the score is modest, the experience gained from preparing for JEE builds analytical and conceptual skills beneficial for engineering studies. Admission decisions are not restricted to JEE rank alone, ensuring fairness for all eligible applicants. Therefore, even a lower score does not disadvantage a student, and the effort itself adds p

CU is known for competitive placement records and strong industry tie-ups, especially in recent years. It has good coding culture and decent exposure to tech companies.

On the other hand, LPU offers a larger campus ecosystem, more CSE specializations (AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud, etc.), and a wider recruiter base visiting the campus. The placement training structure at LPU is also well organized.

Overall, if you want slightly broader exposure and specialisation flexibility, LPU may have a small edge.

The admission for law courses at Chandigarh University mainly runs through the CUCET (Chandigarh University Entrance Test). Students first make an online account on the admission portal with basic details. After that, they pick the exam date from the available slots. The test usually carries multiple-choice questions, and the score is used for merit. After the test result, the university prepares a merit list. Then counselling starts, where students upload documents like marksheets, ID proof, and photographs. Once the verification is done, the student pays the admission fee.
