Chandigarh University's law placements are decent compared to many private institutions. The School of Legal Studies invites recruiters from law firms, corporates, and consultancy agencies to campus. Students from BA LLB, BBA LLB, and LLB have been placed in both litigation and corporate law roles. CU also helps students build their CVs through internships at courts, firms, and NGOs, making them more employable by the end of the program. Guest lectures and workshops by legal professionals further prepare students for interviews and practice. While top-tier placements depend on individual academic performance, many graduates secure role

There are always a lot of activities for the law department at Chandigarh University with some very exciting activities that keep them engaged and allow them to vibe with the legal world. It's not the usual grind of studying; they bring the real world into their classroom.

What with expert talks of legal experts such as retired judges, advocates, and others taking legal pros to all levels on topics such as PILs, Land Laws, even the very buzz-worthy subject of the Sabarimala judgment – this is not just a lecture; it's practically an exclusive Q&A where you get to pose any questions and get back the legit answers from the OGs in t

Every student has to do internships in reputed places. Some get chance with offices of senior lawyers, law firms like J Sagar Associates, Amarchand & Mangaldas, Sridhar Laxmi Narayan, and Indus Law. One of the most interesting parts of the law department is Madhyastha-Centre of Excellence. It teaches students how to solve legal issues in court in a peaceful way. They even show how AI can help in legal matters. It is a great way to learn practical skills.

Law studies need both theory and ground experience. BBA LLB is designed to give that mix. The course at Chandigarh University gives long internships, like 12 weeks in third year and 20 weeks in final year. These are with senior lawyers, legal firms, human rights bodies, and corporate companies. Many students also get global exposure through internships abroad. Because of these internships, many firms pick students directly during placements. Companies like Trilegal, Indus Law, DSK Legal, and J Sagar have recruited from here. The placement team helps students with training, soft skills, and interviews. While placements depend on s
