If you do not have any personal constraints then lateral entry B.Tech chemical engineering is the best option for you. You may also evaluate doing AMIE along with job after Diploma in chemical engineering.

In my view, you should join B.Tech. For this, Jaipur is the best place for engineering. NIT-Jaipur is the best college. But MNIT does not prefer such kind of Diploma students. They take admission through JEE exam. So, you can try for SKIT, JEREC, Anand International College of Engineering College, etc. For good placement, flexibility system in choosing faculty, section, timing for class for a particular class and other axioms, you can visit the campus of Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur. This college provide excellent faculty members, digital study classrooms, etc.

If you are interested in Chemical engineering, then you can go with IIT KGP. But, if you are more into electrical or coding, then opt for BITS, Pilani. Placements in EEE BITS Pilani are better than IIT KGP.

Employers are as diverse as the products they produce and cover a broad range of industrial sectors, including:
biotechnology
business, management and consultancy
chemical and allied products
energy
food and drink
materials
oil and gas
pharmaceuticals
process plants and equipment
water.
There are also opportunities at companies that design and manufacture chemical process plant and equipment, although this may require mechanical engineering knowledge.
Many chemical engineers also work at engineering consultancy and contracting firms. They are likely to be taken on either to design and commission a new plant, or to modify an existing plant
