Molar mass of C7H5N3O6 = 12 * 7 + 1 * 5 + 14 * 3 + 16 * 6 = 84 + 42 + 96 = 227 g/mol

Number of moles = 6 8 1 2 2 7  = 3 mol

number of N-atoms

=3*6.02*1023*3=9*6.02*1023

F e + 3 + l I 2 + F e + 2

Fe+2 undergoes reduction & I2 undergoes oxidation.

E c e l l o = E c a t h o d e o E a n o d e o

= (0.77 – 0.54) V = 0.23 V

= 23 * 10-2 V

Net cell reaction H2 + Cu2+ -> 2H+ Cu (s)

E c e l l 0 = E C u 2 + / C u 0 E H + / H 2 0

= 0.34 V – 0
