Many reputed universities require graduation degree in sociology with honors or as sociology one of the subjects in their graduation. Universities also demand a minimum of 50-55% marks in graduation to offer admissions in MA sociology.

If you are looking to staying back in Hyderabad, then you can go for IBS Hyderabad. But, Christ University is a very good option for Graduation. You will get good exposure and learning. Bangalore is a little more expensive as compared to Hyderabad. The travelling and the accommodation would be an extra expense for you. But it is undoubtedly a good place to start with, if you wish to move out of Hyderabad.
