Civil engineering is one of the old branch so if someone is unable to choose good college then it is difficult to get placed. Christ University and ACED Bangalore are the best college but I think Christ University is the best option for civil engineering. Christ University Bangalore, formerly known as Christ College (Autonomous), is an academic fraternity of individuals Established in 1969. Christ University is famed for having a record of success in the field of education.
The infrastructure and campus is one of the best in the country. In the busy and traffic obsessed city, the campus is very calm.
Teachers are mediocre, at best: Most of the teachers are either too loud or too soft, most of them read and dictate directly from the books. 80% of the teachers are from good college of India and they are friendly with the student which is really important for student.
Fabulous placement records for professional courses in the commerce department. However, more than 90% of students opt out of placements as they either go for higher studies.

B.Tech at Christ University is a more recent set up in the college and not many batches have passed out since its beginning.
The college is known for its extremely well-reputed faculty and excellence.
If you are expecting good placements in the college then you will be in for a great out of disappointment, as the college fails to provide with the same. The total batch placement package is around 70% where most of the students get placed in corporate IT firms, which would pay you nothing more than 4 lacs in an average.
The highest placement being offered to the automobile engineering for the batch of 2017 was around 5 lacs which is really poor for a college of such great reputation.
But the B.Tech department in the college is still in the emerging stage, and not many batches have passed out and so is still in the developing stage.
I would not recommend anyone to take admission at this college if you have any better college to pursue engineering at.

CSE has 38 faculty members. Most of them have PhDs. There are informal labs with new techs like SPSS toolkit, MATLAB and all the integrated software for IoT. Almost 80% of computer science students appearing for the placement procedure get placed. The highest package offered was of 15 lakh by Nutanix.
TCS and Tech Mahindra are core recruiters. Epsilon also takes students from circuit branches. However, other recruiters also include, ACCENTURE, Bosch Ltd, Cafe Coffee Day, Capgemini, Cisco Systems, Dell, Ernst & Young, Flipkart, Google, HONEYWELL, Hewlett Packard, Kotak Bank, KPMG, Mphasis, NTT Data, Oracle Sapient, Thomson, Titan Industries, Vodafone, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

Christ University must be very well reputed college in Bangalore. But, it is not really a good college for B.Tech. This university is one of the best colleges for BBA/BBM and good for MBA.
Placement: Most important thing for any engineering students. Sadly, no other companies come in campus except Tech Mahindra. Placement Record (Around 7-9 %): 28-33 students got placed out of 360 Students in all branches. Technical Companies: Tech Mahindra plus maybe one or two any small companies Non- Technical: May be 2-3 companies including BPO and sales. To be honest, despite its popularity, the famed Christ University doesn't make the cut when it comes to the best B.Tech colleges in the city of Bangalore.
