Civil Engineering is much broader than Architecture and deals with the design, planning, and construction of buildings, roads, bridges, dams, tunnels, and other infrastructure projects. Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. The admission of candidates to the courses offered by IEM Kolkata is done on the basis of scores obtained in the IEM Joint Entrance Exam (IEMJEE). For admission to the B.Tech programme, the selection is done through IEMJEE scores and Admission to the M.Sc programme is through JAM/ PGET/ IEMJEE scores. For MBA, admissions are done on the basis of rank secured in CAT/JEMAT or IEMJEE. The shortlisted students have to appear for counseling. Final selection is based on the performance in the GD, PI and counseling rounds.

Yes, you can pursue a career as a commercial pilot. There is no restriction on business graduates entering the flying school. They seek 12th graders who have taken science and math. The student must be passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Also must have at least 45% marks in diploma or 40% for reserved categories. Admission shall be made on the basis of the latest JEE Main(Paper I) score.
