The abbreviation “PTDC” normally means Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Education – This is a type of tertiary level education. Nevertheless, if you are talking about Diploma or Undergraduate in Civil Engineering programmes the admission schedules will depend on the higher learning institution offering the programmes.
For example Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science of Indore has a Postgraduate Diploma course in Technical Education (PTDC) specializing in Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics. The admission is given purely on merit basis and the candidate are then selected.
