As per the analysis, 57% of civil engineering students who had registered for placements got the job, whereas only 43% of the students who were enrolled in the course were placed. In terms of absolute numbers, of the 328 civil engineering students who sought placements, 142 did not get placed
Review - Nearly around 70% of the students were placed from our course in both mass and core companies like L&T, Atkins, etc. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA in the civil engineering department. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA in core companies.

Applicant must have a minimum 2:2 in civil, structural or another type of engineering, or
considerable relevant work experience
PTE- Marks - 64/90
minimum 59 in each component for UKVI purposes
IELTS- Marks - 6.5/9

Yes, a B.Tech. in Information Technology has a better placement rate than a B.E. in Civil Engineering at Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
top companies come to recruit students from this institute and they are mostly from information technology backgrounds, which increases the chances of those students getting selected.
although there are several opportunities for B.E students as well which benefit them and get them placed in good companies.
