Civil and Architecture are the two different specialization of their respect. If you have knowledge about aesthetic side and drawing skills, then you go for architecture other than you can go for civil. All the best.

Salary depends upon your skills, knowledge & performance. After completing B.Tech students don't have knowledge in their field that's why they even don't get job. But, if you have done your education honestly, then INR 7 to 8 lac package you will get .
