I think you will not get civil engineering in Vssut Burla with this rank. Try for private good college.

Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is an entrance exam conducted to get admissions in engineering colleges organized by the Andhra Pradesh State board. The cutoff rank for Civil engineering in JNTU, Kakinada is 3.5k. But your rank is around 7k which is very high. So you probably can't get in JNTUK. There are many other colleges where you can get admissions
SVU
ANITS
GVP college of engineering
Acharaya Nagarjuna University college of engineering and technology
JNTU, Kadapa
JNTU, Kalikiri

Hi Barsha,
The Placements in JIS College of Engineering is averagely good.
Approx 65% get placed after completion of their degree.
Even for the Lateral entry students - opportunities are same.
