You need to sit for JEE-Mains and score good to have a chance for NITs. For IITs you need to first qualify JEE-Mains and then JEE Advanced. Only way to excel in JEE is continuous effort in learning the topics (PCM) of 11th and 12th. Try to solve questions with proper logic. Take as many tests as possible. Yes, you should do MBA after Bachelors of Engineering in civil, because it will not only give you an extra scope, but also give you a plan b what if you cannot get a good job in civil engineering, so at least you have a MBA degree with you which can not only give you a good job, but also great package.

This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In MBA you could pursue any specialization be it finance, marketing, operations, HR, construction management, etc. Keeping in mind your long term career goals.
