You need to pursue B.Arch course to be an Architect. Firstly, complete your Diploma, register for NATA exams/JEE paper 2 exams and qualify in it to seek admission to a 5 year B.Arch Degree course, once the course is completed you become an Architect. Check the link below to get a list of approved Architectural Colleges. https://www.coa.gov.in/index1.php?lang=1&level=0&linkid=25&lid=26.

There is vast difference between an architect and a civil engineer. In short, an Architect designs, executes and supervises a project, where as a civil engineer is responsible for onsite construction of a project.

Placements: CSE/It get good amount not companies, mechanical/civil same old story just 10% get placed in core companies same situation everywhere. Faculty: just like a other institutions some faculty are fabulous. And some are not any better than to take attendance. (That type faculty more chance see in CSE/IT department).
Attendance issue; There is do not care about attendance like other colleges. Minimum 75% required to write exam etc. Hostel: good rooms but it's so expensive compared with out
