There are many engineering streams. Except IITs & NITs, some of them are Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College Gorakhpur, Delhi College of Engineering, LPU Punjab, Chandigarh university, PEC Punjab, Thapar University, IP University Delhi, College of Technology Pantngar, GBPEC Pauri, etc.

Some of the best countries where civil engineers are in demand are Canada, Australia and Germany. You can also consider Singapore and Hong Kong. I will prefer Australia or Canada for studying and they have opportunities too.

Diploma in civil engineering is better. It will give you more career options and after diploma in civil engineering, you can pursue B.Tech in civil engineering which will give you career options.
