If you have GATE score card and scored more than 70% in B.Tech, then look for direct PhD physics from IIT, Guwahati. You may go with integrated PhD in Physics (Masters + PhD) from IISc cracking an entrance exam conducted by them, provided for appearing in the test minimum eligibility for B.Tech is 55% marks. You may find some other institutions for fulfilling your aspiration in physics.
