The admission is based on your board exam marks and the PCM average out of 200. As there are reservations based on the caste, if you belong to the general category, you may need to have an average of at least 197/200, for BC 195/200, SC 192/200 and ST 190/200. It depends on your interest. You can go for engineering if you have an interest in it. All the opportunities are there for engineering graduates. If not you can also try for hotel management. With the advent of tourism and travel, this sector will provide decent employment opportunities.

JEE, CET and other private university entrance tests are there like UPES-EAT, MU-OET, BITSAT, etc. for engineering aspirants.
