With 45% in 12th, you can get admission in LPU in some courses, especially in arts or related programs, as eligibility varies from course to course. However, many popular programs may require at least 50% or higher. You should choose courses in LPU where your percentage meets the criteria. You can also explore options like giving LPUNEST or applying early to improve your chances. Overall, admission in LPU is possible, but it depends on the specific program you select.

From what I've seen, LPU is a good option for most courses if you're looking for decent academics, practical exposure, and campus life. With 80% in 12th, you can easily get admission and even some scholarship, which makes it a solid choice overall.
Compared to many colleges, LPU gives better infrastructure, flexibility, and placement support, but top government colleges may have stronger academic reputation. Still, for overall experience and opportunities, LPU is definitely worth considering.

For most professional and technical programmes, just 11th and 12th marks are not enough; an entrance‑based selection is usually required, and in many cases that includes appearing for LPUNEST or a similar test. At institutions like LPU, these entrance tests serve both as an eligibility filter and a scholarship route, while the 12th‑class score remains a baseline academic requirement. Course‑wise criteria vary, so checking the official admission page for the exact combination of 12th marks and entrance‑test rules is the safest approach.
