The authorities have provided the weigtage for COMEDK UGET syllabus for classes 11th and 12th. The topics from class 11th hold 33% while class 12th topics have 67% weightage in the entire question paper, across the 3 subjects.

The 12th standard PCM marks will be considered to break the tie in the BITSAT score. If the tie remains after checking the entrance exam subject-wise score, then the 12th standard qualifying exam marks will be used to break the tie.

Enzymes found in human bodies are 

  • Lipases: They remove the fats in the gut.

  • Amylase: It is present in the saliva. The role of amylase is to break down carbohydrates.

  • Maltase: These enzymes are found in the small intestine. It breaks down the sugar maltose into glucose. 

  • Trypsin: These enzymes are present in the small intestine. The function of trypsin is to break proteins into amino acids.

  • Lactase: The function of lactase is to break down lactose into simpler sugars (glucose and galactose). Lactose is the sugar that is found in dairy products.
