CLAT Scores

To get admission to an LL.M. program, universities generally conduct an entrance exam. The Consortium of NLU's conducts the CLAT exam annually to provide admission to UG and PG programs in various law universities and colleges in India. 

To be eligible for the CLAT LLM 2024 exam, aspirants should meet the following criteria: 

Be in the final semester or year of their LLB graduation

Have at least 50% marks in the LLB exam

Have a 5% relaxation of marks if they belong to SC and ST

The minimum score required to apply for the CLAT exam is: 

45% for General, OBC, PWD, NRI, PIO, and OCI categories

40% for SC/ST categories

Students in the general category usually need to score between 95 and 100 to get a top NLU. Students in the SC/ST category often need to score between 80 and 85. 

The PG-CLAT 2023 will be 120 minutes long and will have one section. The first section will have 120 objective-type questions, each carrying 1 mark. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. 

To get admission in LLB in Maharshi Dayanand University Centre for Professional and allied studies (MDU CPAS) in Gurugram, one must have scored atleast equal to or more than 45 % aggregate marks in class 12th and for differently abled people it should be equal to or more than 42.5% aggregate marks in class 12th from any renowned board. CLAT  score is not included in any criteria to get admission in LLB in this University. So, MDU CPAS does not Accept CLAT score overall, for admission in course of LLB because admission to LLB in this university is directly based upon the marks scored by the student in his or her 12th class. In case of more and more applications the priority should be given to the person who have scored more in class 12th than the student with low score in class 12th.

A Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), AILET, LSAT India, or individual entrance examinations administered by colleges are frequently included in the admissions process. During the selection process, several colleges additionally take into account personal interviews and academic records. India's LLM programmes provide a range of specialisations. Furthermore, students may be admitted straight to some universities on the basis of merit. In order to be accepted into one of the top 5 NLUs, you should score in the 95–100 range on the anticipated CLAT Cut Off 2024. To get admitted into one of the NLUs, you need to receive an entrance exam score of 80 to 85.
