Q:   Is NLU Jodhpur as good as Jaipur National University?

A:

National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur stands as a prominent institution in the realm of legal education in India, renowned for its academic excellence and holistic development of aspiring legal professionals.

Admissions to the esteemed BALLB and LLM programs at NLU Jodhpur for the year 2024 are set to be conducted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), a nationally recognised entrance examination that attracts the best legal minds across the country.

The institution boasts an impressive placement record, with the class of 2022 witnessing the highest CTC touching 30 lacs, and the average CTC ranging between 10-15 lacs. Students found opportunities with national regulators, senior counsels, law firms, corporates, and financial institutions, highlighting the diverse avenues available to graduates.

NLU Jodhpur's faculty comprises esteemed members who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the academic landscape. Their commitment to nurturing legal acumen is evident in the success of the alumni network.

The university offers a range of benefits, including a robust placement cell, job interview opportunities, a well-structured fee system, and a strong alumni network. The emphasis on moot court exercises, diverse courses, innovative teaching methods, and a limited number of seats ensures a focused and enriching educational experience. Aspiring legal minds find at NLU Jodhpur not just a university but a launchpad for a successful career in law.

Q:   Can I get B.A. LL.B at NLU Jodhpur with 75 percentile in CLAT?

A:

According to a search on the internet, I found that 75 percentile is not enough or a very low chance to get admission to NLU Jodhpur or any other good law university in India. If you want to get admission to NLU Jodhpur University, then score between 90 and 95 marks in the CLAT test. The cut-off for the year 2023 was 85 to 90 marks; it clearly shows that score more than it to get easily admitted.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when deciding whether or not NLUJ is right for you:

  • The cost of attendance: NLUJ is a private law school,  so the cost of attendance is relatively high. However,  there are a number of scholarships available to help students offset the cost of tuition.
