The mode of National Law School of India University course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are CLAT and others. Candidates applying through CLAT must first register for the CLAT exam. Then appear for the CLAT exam. Then check out the CLAT result and take part in the counselling round.

For the UG programme, the general category students may expect a cutoff between 533- 538 and the ST students may expect between 30641- 30645. An estimated cutoff range for securing admission in the leading 3 NLUs will be 90+. If the candidate aims to secure a spot in the top 5 NLUs, the estimated CLAT cutoff will be 85+.

Yes, NLU Assam accepts CLAT score. Candidates who are looking for degree course admission at National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam must have a valid CLAT score. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) began the CLAT 2025 Registration on July 15, 2025. Candidates can fill the CLAT Application Form 2025 until October 15, 2024. All interested candidates can fill out the CLAT Application Form 2025 by visiting the official website; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. No, the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University does not accept CLAT scores for admission to its undergraduate programme (B.A. LL.B.). CLAT is primarily designed for admission to National Law Universities in India. The Faculty of Law, Calcutta University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to the B.A. LL.B. program. The Faculty of Law website itself does not mention CLAT scores as a requirement for admission.
