These two colleges are the best for B.Tech in computer engineering. In terms of placements, it is all well as highly reputed companies come to both of these colleges.
For B.Tech, many people say that COEP is good because it is situated in Pune and now a days, Pune is a developing IT sector. Most of the IT companies are situated here in Pune.
COEP has a great opportunity for further studies.
Placement from this college is as good as the IITs. Campus of this college is also good and hostel for boys and girls as well.
The great thing about COEP is its academic education which is the best in this college. It has very good experienced faculties

The basic criteria is that you need to take the MH-CET exam and secure a decent rank as it is one the top colleges of Maharashtra. Plus it is an autonomous college. Thank you.

COEP is one of the best colleges in the country. Ranked after IIT Bombay in Maharashtra, it's one of the forerunners in quality technical education. With a legacy of 161 years, it is the third the oldest institution in Asia and alumni spread globally, it is surely a choice of many top rankers. Pune have many engineering branches and the institute is having great infrastructure and study environment, if I tell specifically about the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, it is well-equipped and have spacious laboratories and highly qualified faculty. The B.E Electronics and Telecommunication course aims to teach students the fundamental skills required to satisfy the needs of a growing economy incorporated with applied engineering aspects. Production Engineering
Average package:- 4 Lacs
the highest package:- 9 Lacs
Although only 55% students got placed which is very average, hence Production Engineering is not recommended for COE Pune. Top Recruiters:- Jayoee Grp, Ambuja Cements, tata construction, polaris, essar, dlf, Mayfair, ZS Associates, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Box8, Larsen and toubro, Lodha Group, Bhushan Steel, Vessel Mining. The college needs dedicated orchestrated effort to rope jn many more companies as the list is not exhaustive enough for such huge strength of students at COE. So choose wisely accordingly. Perhaps it is not so impressive in terms of the placements and exposure you will get from COEP is just fairly decent. Here are some statistical insights of the college. Placements Scenarios:-
Metallurgy Engineering
Average package:- 3.2 Lacs
the highest package:- 16lakhs by Shell
Median package:- 4.5 Lacs
Although only 50% students got placed which is not attractive, hence Metallurgy Engineering is not recommended for COE Pune.
