COEP and VJTI both are very old colleges in India and in Asia as well. These two colleges are the best for B.Tech in computer engineering. In terms of placements, it is all well as highly reputed companies come to both of these colleges. For B.Tech, many people say that COEP is good because it is situated in Pune and now a days, Pune is a developing IT sector. Most of the IT companies are situated here in Pune. COEP has a great opportunity for further studies. Placement from this college is as good as the IITs. Campus of this college is also good and hostel for boys and girls as well. Hi dear,
COEP was established in 1854 and VJTI was established in 1887. Both are the oldest institutes in Asia. Both are government. Autonomous institutes. Course format and material are almost the same. Marginal difference is there in the syllabus. The campus of COEP is bigger and more advanced as compared to VJTI. More facilities and hostel available both for boys and girls. VJTI being in heart of Mumbai city, there is a shortage of hostel, which is being worked upon. In terms of infra, COEP is superior. Placement statistics are very much satisfactory in both colleges I. e. almost 100% in all the branches. It will always be suggested

Hi Dear,
It's like comparing an Apple tree with a mango tree. VJTI has B.Tech electronics and telecommunication course and CoEP has electrical engineering course as well. Coming to college comparison, VJTI and CoEP both have great study centered ambiance to provide. Can go for wherever you would like to stay, Mumbai or Pune. Also according to the cutoff which ever will be most likely to get admission in.

It is good to know the cutoffs of previous years but if you ask me, they have only limited usefulness. This is because this changes from year to year in the same branch in the same college. This is so since the admissions under a lateral mode in Maharashtra are based on the results of Diploma and the marks obtained in diploma vary from year to year. In addition to this, the student preference changes and this causes a shift in the priority and consequent enhan

As we all know that JEE marks keep varying every year according to cut-off and availability of seats. But, if you score in the range of 120-140 (General marks) you will be on safer side. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is another way which can get you admitted in College of Engineering, Pune. Branch can be a matter of concern if you did not score well. And, if you have good marks you can choose your branch according to you rather they will allot you the same.
