Master of Computer Application (MCA) is a three-year Master's degree course in computer applications. Any graduate student who has passed or appearing in the final year exam is eligible for Master of Computer Application course. BCA qualified students more preferably opt for this course. MCA is considered equivalent to engineering.

Candidate must have achieved a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC/ PWD categories) either in the Bachelor's Degree and /or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce OR
Must have completed Bachelor's in Engineering/ Technology of Dibrugarh University or any other recognized University with specialization in Science and Mathematics having 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent
Note: Candidate securing 50% marks or more in the Honors/ Major Subject, but less than 50 % marks in aggregate in all the courses of the Bachelor's degree
