First of all, it's a core branch with many on campus training courses that will help you in future accompanied with well-equipped labs and center of excellence for practical concept clarification. You have apply for lateral entry exam, then based on the ranking, you will get admission.

I would suggest you go for XIME Kochi. KSOM result will come in August if you are waitlisted till den you can not sit and wait. Join XIME Kochi and if you get converted to KSOM and at that point of time you want to join KSOM.

According to your rank, you cannot get government college. You can take admission in good private colleges otherwise you appear for JEE Mains next year.
