Though the institute isn't ranked by some major ranking publications, it claims to be the 2nd best research institution in the country, as per an official media release posted by the institute, making it an highly attractie choice for students, if its claims are true.
An unofficial source ranked it #5325 for "Impact" & #8890 for the "Openness" category, with the institute also ranking #7505 for "Excellence", as part of its rankings of colleges/universities in Canada & abroad.
