Yes, degrees and certificates by CV Raman University allocated at the completion of the respective course are valid. All the programmes offered by CV Raman University are recognised and approved by the government of India's National Council for Teacher's Education (NCTE). CV Raman University is also a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Admission to MA courses in PRSU is based on merit in the PG entrance test conducted by the university. The university releases a merit list to announce the participant’s scores and the marks required for selection. There are multiple factors depending upon which the cutoff is determined such as aggregate marks of candidates in qualifying exams, number of applications received, seat intake, and the category of the candidate. PRSU is a well-known university in the state of Chhattisgarh. The university offers a two-year MA course across various popular specialisations such as Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, English, History, etc. The university provides good placement support to its students. PRSU has not released the course-wise placements report as of now. However, the university has released its NIRF 2023 report.
