Put your grades first. Try to keep a strong CGPA early on because it will be challenging to convert it to a higher SGPA later. Have strong relationships with your coworkers, professors, and most importantly, the course seniors. You'll be given pointers on what areas to concentrate on. Take part in the festivals and extracurricular activities. Amity University Raipur conducts two types of exams end semester exams and mid term. If you miss the mid term they conduct re mid term exam so you can appear in that. But end sem exams are main and if you miss or fail any in any subject in that exam you fail the whole semester and you'll have to re appear for that subject in next alternate semester. Internal marks are also important as they make overall GPA of the semester.

Yes, Amity Raipur is a good college compared to other colleges in Chhattisgarh but the main branch of Amity is best. Amity University Raipur has hostel facilities, in built library, lab and many more. Many fests are organized here every year and sports competitions are also organized. Placements are also good here. Amity University Raipur
Is located far away from the main city that is Raipur and it takes one hour to reach the main Raipur from here.

There are three types of exams conducted in the university end semester exams, midterm exams, and class tests. It's okay if you miss CT and if you miss mid-term exams, they conduct re mid-term so you can appear for that. The main exam is end semester exams. But the marks of internal exam is really important for overall GPA and it can affect your GPA if you'll skip the internal exams.
