No, learning German is not strictly mandatory for entry to all programs at HFT Stuttgart. This is especially true for students applying to English-taught PG courses.
However, most UG programs are taught in German. To pursue them, students do need to provide valid scores in German proficiency tests like TestDAF or DSH.
