Stuttgart University offers on-campus housing to both domestic and international students. They have dormitories in the Stuttgart-Vaihingen campus, which is a 20-minute ride via commuter train to the downtown campus. Student dormitories cost EUR 300 per month and EUR 400 is taken as a deposit. Some of the major features of the dormitories are:

  • All single bedrooms have a sink, bookshelf, closet or wardrobe, chair, bed, and table. 
  • Every floor has a common kitchen.
  • No dishes are available (students need to arrange this).

Applying to Goethe University may differ from applying to any other university in Germany in various aspects such as application deadlines, application fees, course-specific eligibility criteria, and other language score requirements among others. The application fee to get into Goethe University depends on the number of courses a student applies for. If a student is seeking admission only into one course then the application fee will be 75 euros. For any additional course that a student wishes to apply for he or she has to pay 30 euros for every course selected.

Goethe University Frankfurt does not have any tuition fee for its courses. But, students are required to pay a semester fee. Also, students are required to pay the living cost. The cost of living at Goethe Uni can be around Euro 952.
