The answer will depend from person to person. For some it may be chemical engineering while for some it will be biomedical. The answer depends on the person's interest and what he/she wants to do. First and foremost, you have to complete your undergraduate degree from a recognised university. You must be academically very strong and sound to be considered for admission in a German university. Normally if we look around, students who apply or being accepted by German institutions are very strong academically and have percentages in the range of 85 to 90% and above. Some other key requirements also include knowledge of German language although many universities do not require prior knowledge of German language. You must also take the IELTS. Your profile must be competitive and consist of excellent projects, research etc. F
