No, HFT Stuttgart is not free for Indian students. The state of Baden-Wurttemberg allows it to charge tuition fees from non-EU/EEA students unlike other public universities in Germany. However, Stuttgart is still more affordable compared to Munich, and offers a comfortable lifestyle at lower costs to Indian students.

Yes, non-EU/EEA students (including from India) are required to pay tuition fee worth EUR 1,500 (INR 1.66 Lakhs) per semester. In addition to this, students also need to pay a semester fee worth EUR 184.50 (INR 20.5 K).

Indian students can pay the same using bank transfer (wire transfer) via the official HFT Stuttgart fee portal.

It is one of the best public institutions in Germany for practical programs in applied sciences (engineering, architecture, or technology). However, unlike the University of Stuttgart it is not a TU9 University
