Yes there are many students from other countries studying at Friedrich Alexander University as over 30000 students attend Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen Nuremberg (FAU) with over 4000 of them coming from other countries also the institution draws a sizable number of international students from all around the world with its cutting edge, research focused curriculum. Indian students are required to complete a lot of other steps before enrolment could be completed. The key steps include the contract signing, visa process and the fee payment.
Look at the BSBI steps to be done for enrollment -
- First sign and revert with the contract offered
- Then, a deposit of EUR 2K or INR 2.14 L
- Now, submit the final documents which are like a conditional offer letter
- A student's visa for non-EU students
- Offer the proof of funds (EUR 11.9K or INR 12.7L)
- Arrange health insurance

After making an application via the Berlin School of Business & Innovation via the portal, the students are then required to sign and return the study contract by 4 weeks of time.
Later meeting this step, these students would have to pay a tuition of EUR 2,000 (INR 2.14L).

Yes, as per the QS rankings 2026, LMU is ranked better than Heidelberg University. Ludwig Maximilians University Munich is ranked at #58 and Heidelberg at #80. Although there is one similarity that is striking, which is that both of these unis have their rankings improved from last three years.

Yes, the QS World ranks RWTH Aachen. And it is quite an influential ranking bodies which are considered in the whole world.
According to QS rankings, LMU Munich has ranked at #58 in 2026 and #59 in 2025. Some of the top 50 ranked courses for Biological Sciences, Communication and Media Studies, Law and Legal Studies, and Medicine.
